You only pay once you have seen your preview and decided to keep your website.
You pay the first term at the annual price, up front. After that, cancel any month – by email or with one click in your account. Your invoice shows VAT where it applies.
The things breeders ask us first
Do I keep my domain name?
Yes, your domain stays yours. Once your site is taken over, you tell your provider to point it at the new site – we tell you exactly what goes where and, if you like, do it together on the phone. We then connect it within one working day. Until then your site is reachable at its address with The Kennel Website Company.
What happens to my email address?
Nothing. Your email stays with your current provider and keeps working as before. We only change where your domain points for the website – and only when you want, together on the phone if you like. If your mailbox sits with the same provider as your old website, we look at that together first.
What happens to my existing website?
It stays exactly as it is. We prepare a preview alongside it that isn't listed in search engines, and nothing on your current site changes unless you decide to publish the new one.
Do I have to move the content myself?
No. The Kennel Website Company prepares the first version from your existing website — pages, dogs, litters, images and key information — and you review and adjust it.
Can I move from Jimdo, Wix or WordPress?
Yes. Those are the sites most breeders come from. Share the address you have now and we prepare a proposed migration for you to review.
My domain is with Jimdo or Wix – does that work?
Yes. Either you move the domain to a provider such as IONOS or STRATO, or it stays where it is and only points at the new site. We tell you which way your package allows and help you with it. Cancel your old package only once the new site runs under your domain.
Can I take my data with me later?
Yes. Your dog, litter, puppy and family records can be exported. We would rather you stay because the product is useful.
I don't have a website yet. Can I still start?
Yes. Pick the look you like and The Kennel Website Company drafts the same pages from scratch — dogs, litters, health and an application form. You fill in the rest from your phone.
When do I pay?
Only once you have seen your preview and decided to keep your website. Then you receive an invoice for the annual price – no credit card.
How long am I tied in?
Only for the first term, which you pay up front. After that your website carries on until you cancel – any month, by email or with one click in your account. Anything you have already paid for the time after that is refunded pro rata.
